Request a Quote →The Cambium 5 GHz PMP 450 MicroPoP Connectorized Access Point is a compact small-cell AP for WISPs and ISPs who need to add a pocket of coverage, fill a gap, or light up a small cluster of subscribers without deploying a full tower sector. This FCC model is connectorized and licensed for up to 20 subscribers, making it a right-sized, lower-cost way to extend the network into neighborhoods, MDUs, and infill sites. It brings PMP 450 performance to places a large sector would overserve.
As a point-to-multipoint access point it registers PMP 450 subscriber modules and is managed alongside the rest of the network in cnMaestro. Because it is connectorized, you choose and mount the external sector or omni antenna to shape coverage, then power it over standard PoE. GPS synchronization lets it coexist with other Cambium APs so the added cell does not interfere with the macro network.
