Request a Quote →The 5 GHz PMP 450b Retro is a drop-in subscriber upgrade engineered for operators modernizing legacy fixed-wireless sites without rebuilding them. It is shaped to work with existing offset reflector dishes, so a WISP or utility can retire aging PMP 100 or PMP 430 era subscribers and bring the modern 450 platform to the customer premises while reusing the antenna and mount already in place. The result is a fast capacity and modulation upgrade with minimal site disruption.
Once swapped in, the Retro behaves as a standard PMP 450 subscriber and is provisioned and monitored through cnMaestro alongside newer 450 gear, unifying an aging network under one management system. Reusing the installed reflector and cabling keeps the truck roll short and lets crews cut over many subscribers per day.
