Fed directly from battery banks and solar arrays over a wide DC input, it delivers a 500 watt PoE budget to a full tower or head-end of radios, cameras and access points without an AC supply in the cabinet.
Beyond per-port selectable 24 volt and 48 volt passive PoE, its SMART DC power management is what sets it apart for off-grid operators: it monitors battery voltage and current, tiers the power budget intelligently as input voltage falls, prioritizes and sheds ports on low battery, detects solar and wind charging, and can drop into hibernation to protect the plant. VLANs, QoS, aggregation and SNMP are fully managed from the web interface.
