Request a Quote →The Cambium PTP 820 RFU-D is the outdoor radio frequency unit of Cambium PTP 820 split-mount backhaul, serving mobile operators, carriers, utilities, and government networks that build high-capacity licensed links. In a split-mount design the RFU-D mounts at the antenna while a separate indoor digital unit handles traffic and management, keeping the active networking electronics accessible at ground level. This Dual TX unit carries two transmitters in one housing, so a single RFU can drive a 2+0 or XPIC link for doubled capacity on one antenna.
This is a licensed 18 GHz radio with 1560 MHz transmit and receive duplex spacing, ordered for a specific sub-band as a single split-mount RFU (one end of the link). It must be paired with a compatible PTP 820 indoor unit, a complementary far-end radio, and a coordinated, licensed link. Plan the hop in Cambium LINKPlanner and secure the spectrum license before install; the antenna and diplexer are ordered separately.
