Request a Quote →The Cambium PTP 820C is an all-outdoor, dual-core licensed microwave radio for mobile operators, carriers, large WISPs, utilities, and government networks that need dependable high-capacity backhaul. This unit operates in the licensed 11 GHz band, a versatile medium-haul choice that balances usable range with high throughput. Its dual-core architecture lets a single radio carry a full 2+0 link, doubling capacity without a second unit on the tower.
As an all-outdoor platform the PTP 820C mounts directly behind the antenna, removing rack space, indoor electronics, and lossy RF cabling. This 11 GHz licensed-band radio uses 500 MHz transmit and receive duplex spacing and ships configured for a specific channel arrangement, so the far end must use the complementary sub-band over a coordinated, licensed link. Plan the hop in Cambium LINKPlanner, license the spectrum, and add capacity through activation keys before deployment.
