Request a Quote →The Cambium PTP 850C is an all-outdoor, dual-core licensed microwave radio built for mobile operators, carriers, and large enterprise or government networks that need multi-gigabit licensed backhaul. This unit operates in the licensed 18 GHz band, well suited to short-to-medium metro hops where wide channels deliver very high capacity. Its dual-core design carries a full 2+0 XPIC link from one radio, maximizing spectral efficiency on a single antenna.
As an all-outdoor platform the PTP 850C mounts at the antenna and removes indoor RF electronics and cable loss. This 18 GHz licensed-band radio uses 1560 MHz transmit and receive duplex spacing and is ordered in the low (Lo) sub-band, so the far end must use the complementary high (Hi) sub-band over a coordinated, licensed link. Plan the hop in Cambium LINKPlanner, license the spectrum, and unlock capacity and features with software activation keys; the antenna and diplexer are ordered separately.
