The Grandstream HT881 is an analog FXO gateway that connects up to eight analog PSTN lines to VoIP, with an added FXS port for an analog phone or fax. It is a higher-capacity way to bring multiple landline trunks into a SIP platform while retaining one analog extension.

An FXO gateway connects analog phone-company lines to VoIP, and the FXS port connects an analog phone or fax to VoIP. With eight FXO ports, PoE, and dual Gigabit interfaces, the HT881 consolidates several copper landlines onto IP telephony from one unit.
